Yes weatherizing is great and beneficial, but if it has to be done with taxpayers money, the jobs only last till the money runs out. We paid to do what normal people wouldn’t pay for.
Some people will get rich on these programs.
The workers will find themselves at the unemployment office in a short time, with skills that there is no longer a great call for.
So it is a beneficial boondoggle, but a boondoggle just the same.
