Today’s GOT DOCS comes from some very young widows of our very young servicemembers killed in combat. It started when Taryn Davis lost her husband Michael to a roadside bomb in Baghdad in 2007. Spending 14 hours a day on the internet, feeling lost and alone in her grief, she wasn’t finding what she needed. So she made a MySpace page, and built a community of widow to widow outreach; they video their experience and have been doing outreach events across the country. They’ll be in Austin TX October 19.
