Terry Rockefeller has traveled a very particular journey since September 11, 2001, when she lost her sister Laura in one of the Trade Towers. In the days and weeks afterwards, Terry joined with others who’d lost loved ones in the attacks – to oppose the bombing of Afghanistan and stand up for non violent solutions to terrorism everywhere.

Today, she’s just back from an extraordinary meeting – in Iraq, attended by Iraqi civilians from all over that nation who are committed to strengthening their country through non-violence. Terry’s part of a group, September 11 Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, partnered with the organization LaOnf "No Violence", which convened that meeting in Erbil. The families are currently organizing house parties to screen a documentary about non violent options in Iraq.
