Students in Brooklyn send this videogram to their counterparts in Palestine. The Palestine Israel Education Project (PEP) is a NY city based initiative created to engage students in critical thinking about the culture, history and current living conditions of Palestinians and Israelis.

Later today on GRITtv our youth activist panel will discuss how young people are organizing around issues of social justice. We’ll be joined by Ora Wise, co-founder of  The Palestine/Israel Education Project (PEP), Chantale Soekhoe, a high school organizing intern with the Welfare Rights Initiative, and Talia Bravo of El Puente.
